Oral history interview with Bernard Carrol, 1975 February 7.

Carrol formerly served as the recording secretary and grievance committee chairman of the local union of the United Steelworkers of America in 1946. He recently moved from a union position to management. In this interview, he describes how saws are made, emphasizes that the quality of the work is more important than the quantity, discusses the differences among workers in the 1940s and 1950s and today, and extolls the small company atmosphere.
